Hi Brian & Betty, This should be my first contact with your blog IF I have pressed all the right buttons. Hope you have a truly marvelous holiday and the snow does not interfere with your journey to Heathrow in the morning. Best wishes and good luck on your travels from Freda & John.
ReplyDeleteJust back at the bungalow in devon with sarah and mark had a lovely night - how was the first leg? we are all jealous of you! Just going to set Sarah and mark up on account too. Paul is just nagging to get on the playstation so he is happy xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Betty and Brian, I am not sure if this works - I have just become one of your "followers" (we sound like your disciples)- mind you, you both are very inspirational people, so who wouldn't want to be following in your footsteps. I am a firm believer of the "Betty and Brian" duo!! I have been following your blog, you should write novels, you certainly have a flare for writing. It all sounds wonderful - we liked the bit about the Fire engines. Did I mention that Chris's friend from work now lives in New York - he married a local girl and after 4 years of being there he has finally joined the New York Fire Service, so he is over the moon. Who knows it could have been him who honked the horn!! We are all fine, although my back has had another setback(excuse the pun), so I am walking about like an olden at the moment. Matt is going to look at plotting your map (he's not sure how to do it, but said he would have a go). I think he is still recovering from his Italy trip. Did I tell you that he sat on David Beckham's changing room seat, and to think only 2 days previous, David's actual bottom was sat on it. How wonderful is that! I bet it's very pert!!!! Sorry about the Villa (I know being a Blues supporter, you think I am joking, but I did want them to bring the trophy home to the Midlands (honest)! Anyway not too much news at the moment, but I am more interested in reading about your eventful days. I hope your arm is okay. Enjoy Nashville and all that Country and Western. Also didn't Elvis live in Memphis (Graceland)? That will be very exciting! Do you remember Matt in his Elvis suit at the Jubilee trying to sing "Blue Suede Shoes, ahh". Take care and enjoy yourselves and I will write soon. Lots of love Di xxxx (and a kiss from Louise too x)
